The Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce has left one prime sponsorship slot open for its upcoming sporting clays tournament, priced at $4,000. The event, scheduled for November 12, 2026, at Garland Mountain, combines a competitive clay target shooting competition with business networking opportunities.
The Chamber has held this annual gathering for several years, with previous iterations taking place in November of 2025, 2022, and 2021. The 2026 edition is set to run from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Participants will check in for breakfast and side games before a safety speech at 9:30 a.m. Shooting is scheduled to begin between 9:45 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., followed by a midday meal from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Awards and departure are slated for 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The course at Garland Mountain contains 13 stations featuring rolling hills and wooded terrain. Targets are designed to mimic the flight paths of game birds. The Chamber will provide shotguns and the first round of 50 shells for each participant. Shooters may bring their own 12-gauge or 20-gauge shotgun and must supply their own eye protection. The event is scheduled to proceed regardless of weather conditions.
Sponsorships range from $1,500 to the top tier. The $4,000 leading sponsorship includes six shooter spots, level exclusivity, and logo placement on all marketing materials and station signage. The $3,000 supporting sponsorship covers one team of four shooters with similar marketing benefits. A $1,500 corporate sponsorship provides two shooter spots and inclusion in press releases.
Lower tiers include the $2,500 breakfast and BBQ reception sponsorships, which offer two shooter spots each and specific marketing exposure during those meal periods. The $2,500 BBQ reception sponsorship also allows for promotional material distribution at lunch. The presenting sponsorship slot is currently marked as sold, as is the wild bird contest sponsorship.
The tournament serves as a venue for business leaders to build relationships through friendly competition. Prizes are awarded to participants, and the event offers a setting for showcasing businesses through sponsorships. The Chamber describes the sporting clays format as a challenging target sport that simulates field shooting.
The event concludes with a departure from the range after the awards ceremony. The Gwinnett Chamber lists the tournament as a day of outdoor fun and team building for the local business community.
