Kali Boatright will retire as president and CEO of the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce in June 2028. The announcement came on Oct. 28, marking the end of her planned tenure after a decade of service.
Boatright has held the position since April 2018. During her time at the helm, the organization secured 5-Star Accreditation, moved its headquarters to Avalon, and formed the North Fulton Economic Alliance. She informed the board of directors of her retirement plans during their regularly scheduled meeting on Oct. 27.
The chamber released an 18-month transition calendar to manage the leadership change. This timeline is designed to support a comprehensive national search and a training period for the incoming CEO. The goal is to maintain continuity for the organization's members and partners while advancing its strategic priorities.
Laura Madajewski, the chamber chair, praised Boatright’s dedication to the business community. “We are grateful to work alongside her during this 18-month transition to maintain continuity for members and partners and advance our strategic priorities,” Madajewski said. She added that the board intends to thoughtfully select the next leader.
Boatright expressed her own gratitude to the chamber team, its 1,300 members, and its investors. She stated her dedication to leading a successful transition and completing major initiatives over the next 18 months. Additional details regarding the search for the new president and CEO will be shared as the process moves forward.
