The Atlanta Hawks announced on Monday that three Georgia-based acts will headline the halftime shows for the opening stretch of their home schedule. The entertainment slate covers the team's first three games at State Farm Arena, all of which take place this month.
The schedule begins on Friday, November 6, when the Hawks face the Washington Wizards. This matchup marks the first Hawks Cup Night of the season. Rapper Bubba Sparxxx is set to headline the halftime show, joined by an in-game pop-up performance from Atlanta rapper Fatt Smaxk.
Sparxxx described the opportunity as a unique chance to connect with his roots. He stated that Georgia shaped his identity and that playing for the hometown team is a special moment. He expressed excitement about bringing high energy to the court for the fans.
On Saturday, November 7, the Hawks will host the Brooklyn Nets. Grammy-winning rapper Lil Baby will take the stage at halftime. The event will also feature a national anthem performance by Atlanta R&B singer Nivea and a pop-up set by Grammy winner Eric Bellinger. Lil Baby said that Atlanta influenced his sound and that sharing that energy with Hawks fans is meaningful to him.
The homestand concludes on Monday, November 9, with a game against the Los Angeles Lakers. The group Yacht Rock Revue will headline that night. The band noted that their fans built them from the ground up and said they plan to fill the arena with harmonies and positive energy.
Tickets for these games are available for purchase. Viewers in the Atlanta market can watch the games through WANF's free over-the-air signal on channel 46.1 or via major pay-TV systems such as Xfinity, Spectrum, DirecTV, and DISH Network. The games will also broadcast on Peachtree Sports Network and on Gray Media stations in Albany, Augusta, Columbus, Macon, and Savannah.
