Roseville closed the Class 6A regular season with a subdistrict title on Friday night.

The Raiders defeated Coon Rapids 24-14 to claim the Metro Maroon crown. This result ends a four-year drought for the program, which finished with a 4-4 record. That mark is the best Roseville has posted since 2017.

Senior quarterback Chase Browning led the offense with 162 passing yards and three touchdown throws. He described the victory as an amazing feeling and noted that the team's hard work was finally paying off. The win sets up Roseville for a playoff run in November.

Elsewhere in the east metro, Mounds View secured the Metro East subdistrict title with a 22-16 victory over White Bear Lake. The Mustangs took the lead in the final minute when Tanner Jude scored on a one-yard run. A two-point conversion extended the advantage, and Preston Johnson intercepted the next pass to seal the result. The defense limited White Bear Lake's quarterback Wyatt Stachowiak to six completions on 24 attempts.

The Class 6A regular season concluded with several other decisive outcomes. Centennial defeated Anoka 38-6, a result that likely guarantees the Cougars a No. 3 seed. Forest Lake's Mack Jurkovich rushed for 245 yards and two scores in a 31-13 win over Stillwater. The victory locks up a No. 2 seed for the Rangers, and Jurkovich finished the season with 1,600 rushing yards.

In the south metro, Lakeville South upset Rosemount 17-14. Sophomore kicker Dylan Nelson made a 36-yard field goal with one second remaining. The win complicates the seeding picture for the region. Other notable performances included East Ridge's 42-31 win over Woodbury and Park's 18-10 victory over Eastview.
