A $450 discount places the ABS Stratos II Ruby pre-built gaming PC at $2,549.99 on Newegg. The retailer lists the system at a reduced price from its original tag, making it the lowest-cost option currently available on its site for a build equipped with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti.
The machine pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with the Nvidia graphics card. It includes 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 2TB solid-state drive. ABS is a house brand owned by Newegg, which explains the extensive availability of its systems on the retailer's platform.
The central processing unit is an eight-core chip that utilizes AMD 3D V-Cache technology. This design increases the L3 cache to 96MB. A larger cache reduces the frequency with which the processor accesses slower system memory. This lowers latency and helps maintain stable frame rates during gameplay. While the chip no longer holds the top spot in all benchmarks, it remains near the peak of performance rankings. No Intel processor is currently described as matching an X3D part for gaming tasks.
The graphics card is an Nvidia Blackwell model with 8,960 CUDA cores. It carries 16GB of GDDR7 video memory. This card supports 1440p and 4K resolution play and includes features such as DLSS with multi-frame generation. Reviewers note that the card handles 4K gaming with ray tracing in modern titles. Users may need to adjust settings in the most demanding games at the highest resolution. The 16GB of memory provides more capacity than the 8GB found in the lower-tier RTX 5060 and RTX 5050.
Memory consists of two 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws M5 Neo RGB modules running at 6,000 MT/s. Storage is handled by a 2TB Team Group NV5000 M.2 SSD with Gen 4 speeds. This drive offers space for multiple large game installations. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and Ethernet. A Bitspower 240mm all-in-one liquid cooler manages the processor's heat.
Tom's Hardware reported on October 23 that the price is strong for the current market. The outlet attributes this assessment to the combination of the $450 price cut and the specific hardware pairing. The report expects the offer to sell out quickly due to its competitive pricing.
