Best Buy reduced the price of the Acer Predator XB27OU by $50 on October 23, 2026. The 27-inch QD-OLED gaming monitor now sells for $329.99. This price point targets gamers who want to replace older IPS panels with OLED technology but have limited budgets.
The display features a 26.5-inch QD-OLED panel with a maximum resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels, known as QHD or 2K. Tom's Hardware notes that this resolution places manageable demands on mid-range graphics cards. The monitor runs at a 240Hz refresh rate with a gray-to-gray response time of 0.03ms. These specifications help prevent motion blur and ghosting during fast-paced gameplay.
Color accuracy represents a key advantage of the QD-OLED panel. The XB27OU covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. It maintains a Delta E accuracy below 2. The screen also supports HDR10 and 10-bit color depth, which increases contrast and brightness compared to standard dynamic range displays.
The monitor includes full support for AMD's FreeSync Premium. This feature synchronizes the monitor's refresh rate with the frame rate produced by the game. The synchronization eliminates screen tearing. The device connects via two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4 port. These inputs allow users to connect a gaming PC and multiple game consoles simultaneously.
The price cut brings the cost of a 240Hz QD-OLED monitor into a range that competes with standard LCD gaming displays. Shoppers can find the unit at Best Buy for $329.99 as of October 23, 2026.
