Marcus Theatres announced Wednesday that it will sell domestic draft beer for $5 at participating Milwaukee locations during the World Series. The chain is pairing the discounted drinks with screenings of two documentaries about the 1982 Brewers team. The deals apply to specific venues in the Milwaukee area, including Movie Tavern Brookfield and Marcus Majestic Cinema of Brookfield.

Jeff Tomachek, president of Marcus Theatres, said the company has waited 44 years for this moment. He stated that the company wants its theaters to serve as gathering places for fans, whether they are watching the live games or revisiting the history of the previous championship team. The 1982 Brewers won the World Series, making this the first appearance for the franchise since that victory.

Beyond the $5 draft price, the company listed other food and drink specials for game days. Customers can buy Game Time Lemonades for $9 and medium pizzas for $10. Appetizers are available at half price. These offers are valid at the participating sites listed in the company's announcement.

The chain is also screening "UECK" and "Just a Bit Outside: The Story of the 1982 Milwaukee Brewers." These showings will take place at ten Marcus locations across the state, including sites in Green Bay, Appleton, and Sheboygan. The list includes Marcus Bay Park Cinema in Ashwaubenon and Marcus Hollywood Cinema in Appleton.

Fans who watch the games at the theaters will use TVs and digital television projectors in the bars and lounges. The Wall at Gurnee Cinema is also participating with a sports bar setup. The company said tickets and showtimes are available on its website and mobile app.

Members of the Magical Movie Rewards program can earn a free Junior popcorn voucher by seeing any movie before October 31. The voucher is redeemable from November 4 through November 24. Non-members can sign up for free before their visit to qualify for the promotion.

The information was provided in a press release from Marcus Theatres. The company did not specify the total number of screens or the capacity of the lounges at the participating locations. The pricing structure remains consistent across the listed venues for the duration of the series.
