Anker has lowered the price of its Soundcore Space 2 noise-canceling headphones to $106.49.
The Space 2 launched as a successor to the Space One, a model that reviewer John Higgins rated among the top budget options in 2023. While the newer unit carries a list price that is $30 higher than its predecessor, the current sale reduces that gap. The discount is currently live at Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart, covering all available color variants.
The primary technical difference between the two models is the active noise cancellation. The Space 2 suppresses low-frequency sounds, such as engine rumble and train noise, more effectively than the original. Anker also adjusted the design to produce more accurate audio. The headphones retain the high-resolution LDAC audio support and the HearID 3.0 feature, which customizes sound based on user responses to audio samples.
Battery performance has increased with the new model. With noise cancellation enabled, the Space 2 runs for up to 50 hours, an increase from the 40 hours provided by the Space One. With the feature disabled, the battery lasts 70 hours, compared to 55 hours on the older version. A 3.5mm jack allows for wired listening if the battery depletes, and the device pauses playback automatically when removed from the head.
The current pricing represents the lowest point for the Space 2 since its introduction. The $106.49 price point is $23 below the standard list price. Although the cost remains $30 above the original launch price of the Space One, the sale offers a lower entry cost for the upgraded hardware.
Retailers are listing the product at this price as of October 23. The availability spans the three major US online and physical retail partners. No specific end date for the promotion was provided in the listing information.
