TechCrunch has finalized the speaker lineup for its Founder Summit 2026, scheduled for November 4 at SoWa Power Station in Boston. The full-day conference, hosted with Fidelity Private Shares, will convene founders, investors, and operators to discuss strategic decisions made under uncertainty.

The agenda extends beyond standard topics of fundraising and artificial intelligence. Sessions will address customer acquisition, team construction, pitch refinement, and founder leadership. A central theme involves scaling companies within and outside traditional startup hubs.

Steve Fredette, president and co-founder of Toast, will head the Impact Stage presentation titled 'Building a Company That Keeps Reinventing Itself.' The session will explore how the Boston-based public company has maintained evolution amid shifting market and technological conditions.

Investor-led discussions will focus on the balance between expansion and caution. Kent Bennett, a partner at Bessemer Venture Partners, will lead 'Finding Product Market Fit Before You Scale,' analyzing signals that indicate readiness for increased headcount and spending. Rudina Seseri, founder and managing partner of Glasswing Ventures, will present 'When to Scale and When to Hit the Brakes,' distinguishing between moments for acceleration and periods of restraint.

Lior Div, CEO and co-founder of 7AI, will present 'Built for AI From Day One.' His session will contrast adding AI features to existing processes with constructing a company’s architecture and operating model around the technology from the start.

Chase Garbarino, CEO and co-founder of HqO, will discuss 'The Boston Founder Playbook' on the Impact Stage. The talk will examine scaling a company from Boston, focusing on talent, capital, and community resources outside the Bay Area. This session, alongside the Toast presentation, emphasizes the viability of building ambitious companies within the local ecosystem.

Dave Balter, a venture partner at True Ventures and CEO of Edisyl, will lead 'Your Pitch Has to Earn the Next Conversation.' Later in the afternoon, Balter will join Chirag Shah of Define Ventures and Simran Suri of Maveron on the Build Stage for 'So You Think You Can Pitch?' The live judging panel will provide immediate investor feedback to presenting founders. Additional speakers include Hunter Worland of NEA on distribution advantages, Vineet Edupuganti of Cogent Security on team building, and Tina Tosukhowong of TDK Ventures on identifying category winners. Fidelity Private Shares will contribute sessions on fundraising trends and enterprise relationships. The event includes roundtables and networking, with TechCrunch offering a 25% ticket discount and a buy-one-get-one registration deal.
